Welcome to The Baked Apple. We are a small café and village shop based in the chocolate box village of Botesdale.
Named after the favourite pudding my grandmother used to make, The Baked Apple is about homemade food, friendly company and a good cuppa.

Christmas Lunch at The Baked Apple will be a delicious affair.
Champagne or mocktail on arrival with a baked Camembert for Starter, Christmas Dinner and a glass of red wine/ white wine/ beer or apple juice for Main and either Christmas Pudding or Sticky Toffee Pudding with Baked Apple Ice Cream with blackberry & elderberry wine for Sweet. You’ll be rolling home merry and bright, but definitely not light
Unlike our normal supper clubs we ask you not to bring your own alcohol as we will be serving ours alongside the menu.
2 tables of 6 each day only, as always we’ll be sharing tables as we share this wonderful time together.

FAQ's
Seating is done family style with guests sharing tables where needed.
The menu is subject to availability and we cannot guarantee everything will always be available.
Breakfast sells out quickly so don't be disappointed if you turn up at 1pm and can't have a bap.
We only serve filter coffee, not lattes etc. but trust us, its delish.
We don't take table bookings unless you're a super regular.
You can absolutely bring well behaved dogs on leads into The Baked Apple. There is always a bowl of water just outside the entrance for them.
Parking is on The Street in Botesdale & Rickinghall. We don't have our own car park.
We accept both cash and cards.
We stop taking orders at 1:30pm and kindly ask customers to leave by 2pm.
We have unisex WC facilities.
Unfortunately due to the old nature of listed buildings, The Baked Apple is not wheelchair accessible. There are two small steps to navigate on entry.
We can only cater to certain dietary requirements if given at least 24 hours notice.
